I didn’t know a couple of college internships at bed and breakfasts twenty-something years ago would be a catalyst for a career change when my better half and I became disenchanted with corporate life. Fueled by our faith, on a mission to create the perfect cup of coffee and believing the best community happens around a meal at the table, we eagerly jumped into the innkeeper life.

After being away for 15 years, we’re finally home in our beloved Mitten State at The Lamplighter Bed & Breakfast, where we’re happiest catching-up with guests, testing new brunch recipes and experiencing all that life along the West Coast of Michigan has to offer.  We are truly grateful to call Ludington, Michigan home.
